In Colorado....We Have a Problem

We worked our tails off to get him elected. As it turns out, it was all a waste of time.
Senator Ken Salazar is voting like a republican and we are working on resolutions to censure him. I, personally, would like a recall. We cannot support a rubber stamp for the republican party.
Senator Salazar has 1) voted against the Ohio vote investigation, 2) voted for the confirmation of Condaleeza Rice, 3) endorsed and then voted to confirm Alberto Gonzales.
Senator Salazar.....your days are waning.

I assume you wrote a letter to him complaining? Also I don't agree with his votes, but he's a junior Senator and probably was afraid of the consequences. He's probably taking advice from more senior senators. 1 "wrong" vote could really screw up a career, ya know what I mean? Definitely send a letter.

Hi Amy,

I sent 4 letters..one for every wrong action and I have been on the phone quite a bit with his office. A lot of angry Dems in Colorado right now.

I sent him letters too.... he would be that spine issue again I gather. That brings up the issue of campaign vs. reality.... The reality is he has no spine but I'm sure his campaign was convincing. He wouldn't have gotten so much support if he didn't convince the Dems that he stood for progressive ideals.... Just like Obama.

Yep...all that and Pete Coors was his opponent. Coors is a lock-stepping neo-con....like any republican nowadays.

I don't understand this fascination with Recalling an elected official... it seems, to me, to be the new Fad in today's politics. I Elected you, now do EXACLTY as I want or I'll take you out.

Personaly, you put him there, you should have to live with your painful decision until the next election.

Tough Chips, you didn't elect the right guy, your fault.
