Who shot JFK? (Must See video)

In case you haven't caught this yet, you might want to check out this video. It was put out by Alex Jones so yes, it may be possible for you to put on an entire tin foil suit in order to view it.

But I do believe that it is important viewing nevertheless.

I would break the video down into two sections:

1) A detailed re-examination of the facts surrounding the death of JFK. I learned a few things here about the handling of JFK's body between Dallas and D.C., in particular an incision that was made on the scalp in a possible attempt to mask a bullet hole at the front of the head...

2) A detailed re-examination of the possible links between the Bush family (primarily Prescott and George HW Bush) and some lovely folks like Hunt and incidents like the Bay of Pigs... The links come fast and furious here with the aid of some rather humourous power point. The links basically rest on the assumption that the George Bush that was implicated in a damning memo was George HW Bush and that GHWB was working for the CIA at that time... The video does make a compelling case.

It's a must-see. Make the time.

This Tin Foil Moment was brought to you by Sue Raging Roz.

The sorry fiscal record of a "conservative" administration

We already know this....it's time for the repigs to put down their edition of My Pet Goat and wake up to their ruinous form of government. One would think they would get tired of being failures.

The sorry fiscal record of a "conservative" administration

David S. Broder / Syndicated columnist

WASHINGTON — Back-to-back briefings last week put a harsh spotlight on the deep hole left by the budget policies of George Bush's first term. Millions of Americans will be paying the price for the fiscal profligacy of this misnamed conservative government.

The bad news, delivered in the first report, is that the camouflaged domestic spending cuts contained in the Bush budget will — if accepted by Congress — do serious damage to education initiatives, low-income assistance and environmental programs over the next five years. More>>>

Hypocrisy: The Ideal of the Right

Most people understand the concept of hypocrisy but, fail to identify it when defending an agenda that they believe to be important to them. Concentrating on the right-wing conservative types will expose us to an enormous view of how hypocrisy is ignored to defend failure, deceit and myth.

FAILURE OF THE RIGHT

Deciding where to start on the failures of the right-wing agenda is, probably, the most difficult aspect in the information gathering process. Volumes can be written about the how, why, what, when and where of these failures. It is clear to most that, the right-wing playbook is an excellent source of information that clearly leads the reader down the road of what must be done to avoid failure. At the same time one does a search it is found that, in their desperation to defend failed ideals, the conservative noise machine continuously post the same rhetoric, some years old, in order to maintain a semblance of confidence in their belief structure.
The republican party has talking points and small blurbs that spew forth fiscal discipline, government down-sizing and moral values. Let us address each of these continuing failures.
Today, we are facing an appointed resident of the White House who, endears the failed policies of Reaganomincs. Reaganomics was nothing more than a tax-cut for the rich that was lauded as a trickle-down, supply side phenomena. It didn't work. Reagan won the presidency after the Carter presidency which left the US with a $74 billion dollar deficit. Reagan ran on the promise of cutting the deficit, lowering taxes and increasing employment. He did none of that, of course, but he did raise to deficit to over $200 billion, lowered taxes on the rich while cutting programs and increasing financial burden on the poor and middle class.
We can easily compare Reaganomics of the 1980's with the fiscal train wreck that is happening today. The forces of the right continue to attack working families and unions, social programs for the needy, Social Security and a myriad of other institutions that made America what it is today. The fiscal failure derives itself from the burden placed on the poor and middle class, increases in corporate welfare and the annihilation of Constitutional protections. Essentially, supply-side, trickle-down economics are, in fact, a failure.

GOVERNMENT GROWTH

The republicans hail the down-sizing of government as on of their strong points. Every single republican president since, and including, Herbert Hoover has increased the size of government in spending, scope and power. Not only did they all increase the size of government they all de-valued the dollar, most increased taxes and some even started domestic programs that are labeled by the mis-informed right-wing as liberal social programs.
Whenever one hears a republican tout the 'less government' mantra it is known by political junkies to be a false and hollow statement. The republican party is a party of big government, plunder and sellouts.
Reagan, in whatever glory one can find, raised payroll taxes significantly and increased government under the disguise of military spending. Bush I and II did and are doing the same.
The simple hypocrisy of the reduction in the size of government is plain to see. It is reneged on, post-election/selection, in all cases of republican victory and/or appointment.

MORAL VALUES

Volumes could be written on the hypocrisy surrounding moral values and the conservative, republican right-winger. It is not difficult to find the hypocrisy of the right but, it is more difficult to find morals that even exist.
One of the most disturbing and least difficult issues to locate is the absence of sexual morals in the republican party. While maintaining a pro-life stance the republicans are in society destroying lives psychologically. Pedophilia, adultery and homosexuality are extremely common in the republican party and the right-wing. The attack on homosexuals, while practicing it, is an extremely immoral behavior that defines the right-wing hypocrisy very well.
Then, of course, there is their pseudo pro-life stance. Hypocrites will shout pro-life all day while killing people in foreign lands, executing prisoners in state prisons and, possibly, murdering rape victims. We must also remember that war in all the chickenhawk glory is, in a sense, full birth abortion.
The morals of religious leaders are a scary prospect as well. In every sect of Christianity there is a cult-like atmosphere that renders the term moral; destitute. The current political atmosphere, as presented by the right-wing, is far from the teachings of actual Christianity but, a fabled version that is appeasing to their masses.

In summary, the right-wing in America is a corrupt force of amoral, deceitful and prevaricating idealogues that have no interest in populations as a whole but, single out small sects of a society that they view as beneficial to whatever agenda they put forth. Historically, the republican party has failed at all economic policies they have instituted, dramatically increased the size of the US government and fail miserably on the moral landscape. The continued ownership of the mainstream media and the censorship that is utilized by the right-wing is a hindrance to the left but, not an impossible obstacle.

Miners arrested near Massey plant

More of the story on Massey energy...the corporation that used the Federal Bankruptcy courts to steal 5,000 people's retirement and healthcare.

UMW protests loss of pensions, health care and union jobs

By Paul J. Nyden
Staff writer

Ten United Mine Workers members, including UMW President Cecil Roberts, were arrested Thursday after a peaceful sit-in across U.S. 60, near a Massey Energy cleaning plant in Smithers.

Another 200 miners and supporters lined both sides of the road as the 10 men sat in the cold rain near an entrance to the old Cannelton Coal cleaning plant on the Kanawha River.

When the 10 moved onto the main road, dozens of other protestors stood near them for nearly 40 minutes until Kanawha County sheriff’s deputies arrived to arrest them. More>>>

The Republican Party: World Terrorist Recruiter

Since the conservative plot on America by the Republican fascists on September 11, 2001, America has become even more hated thanks to the republican party. The quest for a "new Pearl Harbor" was tantamount to the isolation and destruction of the American foundation.

Since the 2000 election, America has been at the mercy of an appointed criminal who, hardly has the intellect to wipe his nose. No greater disgrace has America faced than the theft of the US government by a group of neo-conservative criminals. Utilization of mass media to spread propaganda, Christianity to spread false morals and values, and outright control of the three branches of government has, essentially, brought America to her knees. No longer is the Constitution America's sacred document but, is viewed as a roadblock by the republicans. The Bill of Rights is also despised by America's domestic enemy, the republican party.

America's criminal elite have used the American military to launch pre-emptive strikes on sovereign nations while, declaring justification for their actions. Again, when the lies and deceit are de-bunked the mass media is utilized to spread 'breaking' news in order to steer criticism away from the illegal actions that are common to this regime. Strutting like peacocks in heat, these criminals talk a tough talk, like a school yard bully, while initiating fights with other sovereign countries. Diplomacy is a foreign idea to them and may be overlooked because, the word itself has too complicated a definition.

Now, an assault by the conservative Christian republicans on people of the non-Christian faith is breeding hatred against America at an alarming rate. The mis-guided belief that Christianity is a dominant religion obscures the thought processes of normal people to such an extent that they lose touch with reality. The view they have of reality is a preposterous example of the true meaning of Christianity. Many of the Christian traits they portray are actually anti-Christian in nature.

The Middle East views this assault by the republicans as another form of the Crusades. While the republicans tout democracy and freedom, they are underhandedly exploiting the people of this region for corporate profit and expansion of their pseudo-Christian domain in order, to achieve world domination. In the meantime, closer to home, the pressure they bear is thwarted by false security issues and propagandized media stories.

The republican party is the terrorist's best recruiter. The ideas presented by the republican party have elicited numerous terror activities pre-dating the September 11, 2001 World Trade Center attack. From Oklahoma City, Ruby Ridge and Waco it is clearly shown that a violent disconnect arises whenever this party has power. The question now is, how do we as a nation rid our country of this fascist political party and how do we as a world population strive to initiate it's demise? Possibly, we need to look into the fall of the Nazi Party as a guide to rid the world of this illegitimate political party.

We cannot make the world a safer and better place with a republican party in existence.

Northwest Considers Freezing Pension Plan

More attacks on airline worker's pension plans but, what about a freeze on CEO pay and benefit options??
Let's take a look at Northwest Airlines CEO, Richard H. Anderson, lucrative pay package. I'm sure we will find a way to pay some of Northwest's bills and ease workers's worries.

Richard H. Anderson
CEO
Northwest Airlines Corporation

In 2003, Richard H. Anderson raked in $3,780,167 in total compensation including stock option grants from Northwest Airlines Corporation.

From previous years' stock option grants, the Northwest Airlines Corporation executive cashed out $13,407 in stock option exercises.

And Richard H. Anderson has another $1,632,938 in unexercised stock options from previous years.

How many workers could be supported by Richard H. Anderson's $3,780,167 pay package?

3 Nobel prize winners
11 average university presidents
9 U.S. presidents
16 AFL-CIO presidents
35 Chairmen of the Joint Chiefs of Staff
148 average workers
352 minimum-wage earners

How long would it take to equal Richard H. Anderson's total compensation for 2003?

A Nobel prize winner would have to work until 2006 A.D.
An average university president would have to work until 2014 A.D.
The President of the United States would have to work until 2012 A.D.
AFL-CIO President John Sweeney would have to work until 2019 A.D.
The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff would have to work until 2038 A.D.
An average worker would have to work until 2151 A.D.
A minimum-wage earner would have to work until 2355 A.D.

2003 Compensation
Salary $500,000
Bonus $0
Long-Term Incentive Payoffs $0
Restricted Stock Awards $1,905,750
Other Compensation $10,546
Value of Stock Option Grants* $1,363,871
Total 2003 Compensation Plus Stock Option Grants

$3,780,167
Compensation from Prior Stock Option Grants**
Value of Options Exercised in 2003 $13,407
Value of Exercisable Options $0
Value of Unexercisable Options $1,632,938
* Black Scholes present value model as reported in the company's proxy statement.
** Not counted in 2003 compensation totals.
Source: eComp Database - http://www.ecomponline.com

CEO-to-Worker Comparisons
Annual Weekly Daily Hourly Per Minute
Richard H. Anderson $3,780,167 $72,695 $14,539 $1,817 $30
Minimum-Wage Worker $10,712 $206 $41 $5.15 $0.09
Average Worker $25,501 $490 $98 $12.26 $0.20
President of the U.S.A. $400,000 $7,692 $1,538 $192 $3.21

So....I don't see a problem as to a short-term fix for some of Northwest's financial woes. But, will the right-wing bankruptcy courts see it through a worker's eyes??

I doubt it.

New Jersey to Raise Minimum Wage.

New Jersey is about to become a little more worker friendly at the behest of Democratic legislators. The only dissenters of course were the republicans.
The corporate crooks representatives had this to say:

"Increasing the minimum wage typically leaves lower-skilled workers with less employment opportunities," said John Rogers, vice president of the New Jersey Business & Industry Association.

When has the minimum wage decreased job opportunities? The $2/hour increase will have little, if any, effect on corporations or small businesses that are viable. The spin by the business side is that, hours and benefits will have to be cut.
How many minimum wage workers get benefits anyway??

Kudos to you , New Jersey!!

Corporations Painted in Red and Blue
S.F. man politicizes purchasing power
by Joe Garofoli

Having taken a beating at the ballot box, the left is redirecting its post-election energy at corporate boardrooms.

Anti-corporate campaigns have been around for decades, but this fight-the- power generation is going about it with a little more finesse. For one, activists shy away from the term "boycott." Too negative.

"People are sick of that whiny sort of demeanor," said Craig Minowa, an environmental scientist who helps create campaigns for the Organic Consumers Association, a public interest advocacy group. "In the '60s it was down with this, down with that. Now, people want a more positive message."

Among the new wave is North Beach resident Raven Brooks, co-founder of BuyBlue.org. He tells consumers which companies are "blue" (Democratic) or "red" (Republican) -- depending on the contributions of its political action committees and top officers -- and then redirects red shoppers to bluer competitors.

"We're not telling people to boycott the companies -- we're just giving them information on how to shift their money," Brooks said.

In the coming months, everyone from environmentalists to organic food advocates will supplement their political lobbying with a heftier dose of consumer outrage funneled through "corporate responsibility campaigns."

Bush press pal quits over gay prostitute link

February 9, 2005
by Helen Kennedy
New York Daily News

WASHINGTON - A conservative ringer who was given a press pass to the White House and lobbed softball questions at President Bush quit yesterday after left-leaning Internet bloggers discovered possible ties to gay prostitution.

"The voice goes silent," Jeff Gannon wrote on his Web site. "In consideration of the welfare of me and my family, I have decided to return to private life."

Gannon began covering the White House two years ago for an obscure Republican Web site (Talon-News.com). He was known for his friendly questions, including asking Bush at last month's news conference how he could work with Democrats "who seem to have divorced themselves from reality."

Gannon was also given a classified CIA memo that named agent Valerie Plame, leading to his grilling by the grand jury investigating her outing.

Getting Duped in Chimp Land

Promises mean nothing to the chimp boy. Even when he promisies a huge campaign donor an ambassadorship.
I feel no pity for this fool. Anyone who supports the idiot chimp boy gets what they derserve.
Actually, it's hilarious!!

Story>>

By SHARON THEIMER, Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON - A big Republican donor goes to his governor and senator, saying he was told by President Bush's chief fund-raiser he'd be getting a plum ambassadorial appointment but it wasn't delivered. The senator takes his case right to the top of the White House.

Nothing happens for two years.

The donor then helps stage a fund-raiser for Bush. A week later, the donor lands an appointment as the chairman of the federal board overseeing billions of dollars of student loans.

The aggressive job campaign of businessman Duane Acklie — detailed in the Nebraska gubernatorial files of new Agriculture Secretary Mike Johanns — provides a rare window into donors, their access and their rewards.

And there's a twist.

The Definition of Scum

The Democratic party has a Minority leader with a backbone. Senator Harry Reid of Nevada has no qualms about calling a rat a rat. He isn't afraid to point out the lies and fiction of the republican agenda. He stands tall when attacked by scum and for this, his family is attacked by republicans.

Republicans are one of the world's lowest forms of life. Thier genetic history usually involves a tree with no branches or, very few at least. Hell, when the scum get hungry they eat their own...a sign of parasitism seen among most low-life forms. They exist with difficulty in symbiotic relationships and often, revert to cannibalistic avenues.

These parasites exist far and wide are are often found congregating around areas with a high child population, churches filled with other parasites of low self-esteem and internet porn sites. Age, dignity and honor are non-existent in this parasitic group but, they are far from resistant to germicidal agents.

These parasites have a high affinity for each other and on the end of their scolex are large suckers they utilize to anchor themselves to the posterior end of the organism that is higher in stature. The chain of organisms break when one of the organisms mistakenly implants it's sucker on the wrong or weak proglottid (one that is not firmly attached). This phenomena occurs frequently and will cause a mass of parasitic activity that results in the fatality or crippling of the offending parasite.

So, we can see why parasitic scum is a detriment to higher life. The utilization and waste of oxygen and carbon sources is a drain on higher life forms. Their life cycle is a humorous anomaly in that, anywhere in the mass of life forms one cannot single out a single non-scavenger. This may explain their cannibalistic nature.

Senator Harry Reid of Nevada is a much higher life form and, he should consider carrying a can of Lysol or other spray anti-parasitic substance in order, to combat these obnoxious parasitic pests.

Syria Beware!!

Syrians should beware. The appointed ruler of America has called home it's ambassador to plot and plan a fabricated strategy in order, to invade your country. The American regime is implicating Syria in the blast in Beirut, Lebanon yesterday. The regime claims Syria is a destabilizing force in Lebanon....what they really mean is that Syria is in the way of a joint US/Israeli action.

Prepare yourselves Syrians and, Americans should prepare for a media blitz of fabricated right-wing spin. The kind of spin Hitler used in the late 1930's.

Is Russia Getting Fed Up??

Russia may be blatantly thumbing her nose at the Bush Crime Family's imperialistic motives for world domination. Russia is allying with Iran and it's nuclear power program, as well as, sending arms shipments to other countries (Syria and Venezuela) threatened by the arrogant Crime Family.

The condition of the United States, occupied by terrorist idealogues, is in critical condition. Nowhere is there a 'coalition of the willing' but, only possibly a coalition of the indebted or needy. Populations of countries all around the world are exerting enormous pressure on their governments to stop aiding the criminal terror regime controlling the US military. And that goes for US citizens as well although, voices from the American people are ignored.

In Venezuela, President Hugo Chavez, a democratically elected official, has accused the US in the aiding of Colombian rebels to underscore his government. This action, as well as, the kidnapping of a rebel leader in Caracas is a violation of Venezuelan national sovereignty. The main point of the US meddling is control of Venezuelan oil, a 350 year reserve crucial to the US terror regime's world domination goals.
In preparation for a US/Colombian raid on his country, Chavez has began to purchase arms from Russia in self defense.

Syria has recently been working closely with Russia in the areas of oil, gas and defense systems. Undoubtedly, Syria's concerns are aimed at the terror regime in Washington D.C. and it's weapons systems from Russia will include antiaircraft missile defense. Of course, we will hear the chickenhawks fabricate rhetoric that has nothing to do with Syria's self preservation only that, 'insurgents' will acquire the weapons and use them against US forces in Iraq. None of these allegations can be verified, of course.

The critical issue about all of this is, the effect on American soldiers. Soldiers placed in harm's way by lies, fabrications and a domination craze by the republican party in America. Our soldiers are now in a unwinnable war in Iraq. The Iraq elections tell us that democracy is not the style of government that is wanted but, a return to the system of old. How much longer will the atrocities by America's appointed terrorists continue? When will the Iraqi people get their country back with the government they want and not a government that is appointed, fabricated and stolen? What country is next to be invaded by fabricated falsehoods common to the Bush Regime??

Time will tell.....as the body count rises.

The Second American Revolution

Published on Sunday, February 13, 2005 by CommonDreams.Org
The Second American Revolution
by Joel S. Hirschhorn

To: Dr. Howard Dean
From: Joel S. Hirschhorn

Subject: The Second American Revolution

As the new Chairman of the Democratic National Committee, you need a new powerful message and mission. You need to think boldly in terms of fundamentals. You need to think like our Founding Fathers, because saving a democracy is as important as creating it. Attention must be paid to the truth: We need a Second American Revolution. You can be a leader and healer for our time.

Time to fess up about the many ways American democracy has been terribly degraded over recent decades. And time for the Democratic Party to position itself as the guardian of democracy by admitting how it has been weakened and how it must be restored to greatness. Where the party has been complicit in many democracy-destroying actions, it must admit responsibility. It must walk away from all forms of corporate corruption.

Abolish Corporate Personhood

By Jan Edwards and Molly Morgan
May 20, 2004

The history of the United States could be told as the story of who is and who is not a person under law. Women, poor people, slaves, and even corporations had long been considered persons for purposes of following the law. This is because early laws were written “No person shall . . .” Corporate lawyers had tried to avoid these laws by claiming corporations were not persons and therefore not required to follow the law. So it was decided that for purposes of following the law, corporations were persons. This allowed corporations to sue and be sued in court among other things. But corporations were not persons with rights in the law, and neither were women, slaves, indentured servants, or poor people. We know some of the ongoing story of human beings' struggle to gain the rights of persons under law, but how did corporations gain these rights?

Jury Duty or Public Humiliation?

States are coming up with all kinds of creative ways to force people to serve on juries. I read this story and it reminded me of a time when I figured out how to avoid it altogether.
I was called to jury duty while working on a big government project and I didn't feel like serving on a jury that was going to pay me for the day what I was making in an hour. So, during the little interrogation they put you through I told the lawyers not guilty...that is how I am voting...no matter what. The judge and the lawyers raised a fit saying I didn't even know what the case was about. I told them not guilty was how I am voting....no negotiation.
I was dismissed.
Now, it seems judges can humiliate people who don't show up. What a shame. I say if that is they way they want to play then, everyone should inform the courts they are voting not guilty. How much humility is there for not being able to seat a jury?

Foolish Budget is Gaining Opposition.

The idiocy of this regime and it's criminals budget is being put forth on Monday. The $2.5 trillion budget only touches on the budget cuts and not the increases from military spending to the 'dead-horse' Social Security scam.

Some of the cuts and who they hurt are:

Food stamps/poor people
Farm subsidies/farmers
Medicaid/children
Veterans Health care/veterans
Education/all of us
Amtrak/all of us
Law enforcement/all of us

This joke of a budget, also, names billions in 'unspecified' cuts. A dangerous proposal from the Criminal Enterprise that is squatting in our Whitehouse.

What this sham budget proposal doesn't address is the 4.5% increase in military spending or the $2 trillion cost to piratize Social Security.

This budget proposal is another example of the means to which this regime will lie, cheat and steal from the American people. Senator Kennedy of Massachusetts points out that by rolling back 1/3 of the tax cut for the rich would solve any problem Social Security may have in the future but, the regime insist on calling it a crisis. More lies and propaganda....the basis of the right-wing.

Also, the regime wants to give $150 million to faith-based programs. As a tax-payer, I say keep your faith out of my government. They can get their money from their followers...not my paycheck.

Writing in the American Prospect, Roger Hickey says the campaign against Social Security privatization is "a rare opportunity to stop the newly re-elected president dead in his tracks, to demonstrate the bankruptcy of his extreme conservative agenda, and to point to a new politics of "shared security" around which we can build a new majority for change. Winning won't be easy, but a powerful combination of progressive forces -- national organizations, political funders and philanthropists, policy experts, and grass-roots and online networks (including veterans of the 2004 elections) -- are coming together."

Wipe Out Disease with the Stroke of a Pen

Over at Resist Oppression is a sad story of anti-worker legislation. This type of legislation is even more threatening today as, corporate criminals and lobbyists continue to take over America. The issue is Black Lung disease and the plight of Kentucky coal miners....check it out.

It's a shame people have to suffer at the hands of corporate greed.

Gross criticizes Social Security Plan

Well, well, well...the little leader's Social Security plan is debunked by Wall Street official. Looks like the legacy this regime wants won't come from this scam.

NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - Bill Gross, manager of the world's largest bond fund, is criticizing President Bush's plan to privatize part of Social Security.

Gross, managing director at Pimco, called the argument about the solvency of Social Security "silly" and said it was an example of the president not focusing on more important issues, such as the budget deficit.

The president's argument for individual Social Security accounts is meant "to promote an agenda that has little to do with seniors and more to do with Bush, his ownership society, and ultimately his domestic legacy alongside the likes of Ronald Reagan and FDR," Gross wrote in comments posted on Pimco's Web site. The Imminent Demise of the Republican Party

A great op/ed piece by David W. Orr.

"The Republican Party has chosen to deny social, ecological, cultural, religious, and economic realities which are unavoidably complicated, complex, diverse, ironic, and paradoxical. Instead they have chosen to make their own simplistic, ideological, and chauvinistic fantasy world that has little affinity for law, science, a free and independent press, fairness, true security, ecological sustainability, and the accountability that is requisite for genuine democracy."

Mr. Orr has hit the nail on the head with this article. Read it here.>>>

Corporate Greed Alive at University

Rising tuition costs, increased fees, funding cuts and troubled budgets don't stop the excessive bonuses to top university administrators. What a shame.

BERKELEY, Calif. - Union officials and students are fuming over the more than $2 million in bonuses handed out by the cash-strapped University of California to medical school executives.

The $2.4 million in bonuses went to 65 administrators at UC's five medical schools. Payments averaged $36,000 and were as high as $82,000, according to a report made public by an employee union.

UC officials say their incentive awards are in line with industry standards and the incentive pay is tied to performance and comes out of money made by UC hospitals. They say even with the bonuses, UC medical center executives earn less than their counterparts at other medical schools.

But critics say the bonuses are hard to justify considering that UC has raised student fees for four consecutive years in the wake of state funding cuts. They say the money could have gone to student aid or to increase hospital staffing. More>>>

In Colorado....We Have a Problem

We worked our tails off to get him elected. As it turns out, it was all a waste of time.
Senator Ken Salazar is voting like a republican and we are working on resolutions to censure him. I, personally, would like a recall. We cannot support a rubber stamp for the republican party.
Senator Salazar has 1) voted against the Ohio vote investigation, 2) voted for the confirmation of Condaleeza Rice, 3) endorsed and then voted to confirm Alberto Gonzales.

Bush Regime Supports Constitutional Violations

In Fargo, North Dakota it seems that members of the Democracy for America Meetup members were banned from attending the appointed leader's personal infomercial at the Bison Sports Arena. The list contained the names of others who may have been classified as dissenters.

This is another example of the anti-America agenda these criminals have in store for America. Not only are they anti-American, the criminal charges against them are mounting. What is the most surprising is the utter lack of knowledge that supporters of the regime have of the value and importance of the Constitution of the United States of America.

A little quiz for you freepers: What Constitutional Amendments were violated by this criminal and his regime?

Defeating Republican Scams

I didn't watch the State of the Union speech by the twice appointed ruler of America....I had more important activities to attend to. Instead, I attended my local Democratic meeting to listen to the Boulder County Sheriff, Joe Pelle, talk about the Patriot Act and it's effects on local law enforcement. I won't go into all the details but, there is one very interesting situation he did address. Illegal and undocumented workers.

The Patriot Act, according to Sheriff Pelle, has shift the burden of enforcing immigration laws to the state and local law enforcement agencies. He explained that by doing this, people who are here illegally or have no documentation are fearful of contacting law enforcement when a spouse or employer abuses them. His concerns were that, his department is a public safety entity and is placed in an awkward position by the Act. It is a clear ploy by the republican party to maintain cheap labor for their corporate donors because, if law enforcement endorses the position of maintaining public safety and trust then, they cannot enforce immigration laws effectively without violating the trust of people being abused or victimized by crime.

The next issue on the agenda was Social Security. What most people hear in the republican controlled media is that, the Trust Fund will be bankrupt or will go bust by some particular date (depending on which spin channel you view). The largest drain at this point in time is the tax cuts for the rich and the illegal occupation of Iraq by Imperial America. Many economists have shown, with great accuracy, that the tax cuts are the largest problem with Social Security at this time. Repeal of these cuts would keep Social Security viable, indefinitely.

What we see now is a blatant waste of taxpayer money, funding stolen from the Social Security Trust and increased borrowing from this appointed regime to carry out the fraud on America. The republican party has always been a party of economic failure and it is no different now. Social programs, organized labor and brown people are being attacked by the racist right around the world and, with these actions there comes good news. Good news that accompanies the defeat of any bully or liar....The demise of the republican party.

Working people should take a strong stance against the anti-working people republicans in several ways. One way is to involve yourself in the political process. If a worker, who is republican, supports the party of economic failure then, that worker consistently votes against his/her best interests. Educating these workers is difficult. They are conditioned to soundbites; small bits of information that are designed to mislead. Breaking through the shell of the closed conservative mind is not impossible. During the 2004 election, republican voters who supported the occupation of Iraq, were asked which one of their children they would choose to die in this war. The answer was always a resounding, "None of them", but it was explained that they had no choice and they must sacrifice one of their children. This strategy worked quite well and strengthened the Democratic Base. This action showed that lying is not necessary to bring about truth but, only to run on a campaign of fear that was so well demonstrated by the republican party.

Another way to demonstrate to a republican worker that their interests are not a consideration of the republican party is to address the bankruptcy laws being utilized today. Corporations are being allowed to use the bankruptcy system to steal pension and healthcare funds from workers who have worked for them, earned them and deserve these benefits. A good way of breaking through the closed conservative mind is to get between them and their money. This action also, helped the Democratic base with an increase in membership.

Through all the smoke and mirrors, activists, like myself, are seeing the demise of the republican party. Covertly attending local republican meetings one can see and sense the fear and urgency these people have. They know they are dying as a party and they are beginning to turn on their own legislators. And I am more than happy to agitate their little world.

Simple minds are an easy thing to waste.

Iraq Elections a Sham

We already knew this but, now it's official. Iraqi citizens were forced to vote or lose food rations. I am confident that soon, we will hear that they were also told who to vote for (by the very people who rig elections in America).

Some Just Voted for Food

BAGHDAD, Jan 31 (IPS) - Voting in Baghdad was linked with receipt of food rations, several voters said after the Sunday poll.

Many Iraqis said Monday that their names were marked on a list provided by the government agency that provides monthly food rations before they were allowed to vote.

”I went to the voting centre and gave my name and district where I lived to a man,” said Wassif Hamsa, a 32-year-old journalist who lives in the predominantly Shia area Janila in Baghdad. ”This man then sent me to the person who distributed my monthly food ration.”

Mohammed Ra'ad, an engineering student who lives in the Baya'a district of the capital city reported a similar experience. More>>>
